Great Migration Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi 

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and assisted through customs and immigration by our representative. You will then be transferred to your comfortable  accommodation , a prime location in Nairobi close to a supermarket and a variety of food outlets. Spend the evening at leisure, settling in and preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Nairobi Excursion

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up for a full-day Nairobi experience. You will begin the day with a visit to the Nairobi National Park, a unique wildlife haven located just outside the city. Next, you will visit the Giraffe Centre, where you can interact with the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Lunch will be at a recommended restaurant, where you will enjoy delicious local cuisine before being dropped off at your accommodation for the evening and overnight stay.

Day 3: Journey to Maasai Mara

Today, you will depart  Nairobi for the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. After a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, you will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure before heading out for an evening game drive. The Maasai Mara is teeming with wildlife, and your first game drive will offer a thrilling introduction to Kenya’s Big Five. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. Explore the vast savannahs of the Maasai Mara, home to the Great Migration and an abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos. Capture unforgettable moments in nature before returning to your lodge for dinner and another peaceful night in the wild.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

Today, you will head south to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure, soaking in views of Mount Kilimanjaro from your lodge. Later, embark on an evening game drive to see the park’s famed elephants and rich wildlife. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Exploring Lake Chala

Start your day with an early checkout and a scenic drive to Lake Chala, a stunning crater lake on the Kenya-Tanzania border. Enjoy the peaceful beauty of the turquoise waters and surrounding lush forests, with opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, and immersing yourself in nature. Later in the day, head toward Voi Lodge, unwind with dinner and cultural performances, and retreat for a restful night in preparation for the next day’s journey.

Day 7: Transfer to Diani Beach

After breakfast at Voi Lodge, you will check out and travel to the stunning Diani Beach on the Kenyan coast to relax and unwind and explore more of course!. The afternoon is at leisure to unwind by the beach, enjoy a swim, or explore the nearby areas at your own pace. Overnight at your beach accommodation.

Day 8: Wasini Island Tour

Today’s highlight is a full-day tour of Wasini Island, which includes a dhow sailing trip, snorkeling at Kisite Marine Park, and a delicious seafood lunch. You will explore the coral gardens, spot dolphins, and experience Swahili culture. After the tour, return to your Diani accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 9:Shimba Hills and Leisure

Start your day with a half-day excursion to Shimba Hills National Reserve, exploring the lush coastal rainforest, spotting wildlife like elephants and the rare sable antelope, and a guided nature walk to the breathtaking Sheldrick Falls. Visit Marere Viewpoint for stunning panoramic views before returning to Diani Beach for a leisurely afternoon.Relax by the sea, indulge in a spa treatment, try jet skiing, or explore charming art shops and cafes, making the most of your time in this coastal paradise.

Day 10: Return to Nairobi and Departure

After breakfast, you will check out and later you will be transferred to the train station for your return journey to Nairobi via the SGR. Upon arrival at the Nairobi Tarminal , you will be picked up and dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight home, marking the end of your magical Kenya adventure. Day 12: Departure to Your Home Country
Conclude your journey with a leisurely breakfast at Hemingways Nairobi, savoring your final moments in Kenya’s vibrant capital. Check-out from the hotel and bid farewell to the attentive staff who have made your stay unforgettable. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, carrying with you cherished memories of breathtaking landscapes, thrilling wildlife encounters, and the warm hospitality of Kenya. Depart with a heart full of gratitude and a promise to return to this enchanting land.
