DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KIGALI

Upon arrival at Kigali International airport ,you will be met by our representative who will assist escort you to the car and transfer you to Serena Hotel Kigali.After Check-in,you can choose to enjoy a drink as you settle in your room,take time to freshen up and later have dinner or lunch at the hotel depending on your arrival time.

DAY 2: Kigali City Tour 

Spend the morning exploring Niyo Art Gallery,which showcases contemporary Rwandan art and supports community projects.Interact with local artists and learn about their work.At your own will,support them by buying the arts or by grabbing a bite at the Shikola cafe.Afterwards you will head to Kigali genocide memorial,spend time reflecting and learning about Rwanda’s history of the1994 genocide through exhibits and personal stories.After lunch,explore the Kandt House Museum, named after Dr. Richard Kandt, the first colonial governor of Rwanda. The museum exhibits Rwanda’s natural history, including geological and biological displays.

DAY 3: Akagera National Park Safari

Embark on a morning game drive to Akagera National Park,a home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of savannah, woodland, and wetlands.Break for a picnic lunch at one of the designated spots in the park. Take in the stunning surroundings while you dine.Indulge in an optional  boat ride at lake Ihena,a perfect chance for you to see hippos and  crocodiles at a closer angle.Spot more wildlife and enjoy the changing afternoon sunlight,on the final game drive as you exit the park.

DAY 4: Nyungwe Adventure Drive  

Prepare and check out for a 4-hour drive to Nyungwe Forest, with a stopover at the King’s Palace Museum for a 1-hour and 30-minute tour. Continue the drive through the beautiful, evergreen landscapes of Rwanda.Upon arrival at Nyungwe Forest, complete the entrance formalities and join the 3 pm EAT  session for a 2-hour guided canopy walk. Afterward, check in at Nyungwe Forest House, freshen up, enjoy dinner, and rest in preparation for the following day’s activities.

DAY 5:Chimpanzee Trekking

Join in for a late morning Chimpanzee trekking at Nyungwe Forest National Park.Later on, return to the hotel for lunch and indulge in a guided visit to Gisakura Tea Plantation where you get more understanding about tea plantation,growth and harvesting.Optional practice on harvesting is allowed at the Plantation.End your awesome day by freshening up,dinner in the hotel  and a engaging chat with other visitors by the bonfire before bed.

DAY 6: SCENIC KIVU DRIVE 

Enjoy a scenic 4 hour drive to Lake Kivu,perfect place to unleash your wild experience.On arrival,complete the formalities,check in and enjoy a refreshing drink as you prepare for dinner.After a chit chat with other visitors,retire to bed for rejuvenation overlooking the activities on the following day.

DAY 7: Lake Kivu Kayak Experience

Start your day with delicious breakfast served at the hotel.Depart for a scenic drive to lake Kivu for a kayaking experience.Enjoy the views on your ride as you explore the lake and its islands.You will break  for lunch at a restaurant in Rubavu,and  later enjoy the ride back to the shores.Head out to markets for a shopping experience marking the end of your days activities.Later return in the hotel for dinner and  overnight.

DAY 8: Volcanoes National Park Drive :The ultimate adventure 

Breakfast and  check out for a 1 hour scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park,a Park that offers an unforgettable experience on Gorilla trekking,cultural visit and gold monkey trekking on choice.On arrival check in at Wilderness Bisate Lodge for lunch, relax for a while and join for a evening  cultural experience as the sun sets.Return to the Lodge for Dinner,sit by the fireplace for a while or head to bed right away,all on one’s choice.

DAY 9: Gorilla Trekking Expedition :Up close with the Majestic Lords

Early breakfast for Departure overlooking the Gorilla trekking Experience which requires punctuality for a good experience.On arrival at the gate,our guide will ensure all formalities are handled and you can proceed in the park for a 4 hour or more  guided trekking adventure.Once done for the day ,return at the hotel,freshen up,get ready for dinner and the overnight stay.

DAY 10: Return to Kigali & Departure

Check out and depart to Kigali,a 2 hour  journey .Arrive in Kigali for lunch in and later head to Kigali international airport for your flight back home.With you are great memories that can never fade away.
